Overview

Kansas Association of Insurance Agents (KAIA) is dedicated to promoting and advancing the interests of the independent insurance system. Founded in 1920, KAIA represents more than 500 independent insurance agencies and branches across the state. We have member agencies located in every Kansas county. Our members are small businesses that employ more than 3,000 licensed agents in communities throughout the state. As independent agents, our members provide Kansas consumers with choice, customization and advocacy in both their personal and commercial insurance coverage. Our member agencies offer all lines of insurance, including property, casualty, life, health, employee benefit plans and retirement products. Agency Services Corporation of Kansas, better known as AScK, is a for-profit subsidiary of the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents (KAIA). While programs and services have greatly expanded, AScK still maintains two types of operations: insurance programs for agents (principally E&O) and insurance programs for agents to offer their clients. In this second category AScK operates as a wholesaler offering specialty markets to independent insurance agents. AScK is unique in comparison to other wholesalers: The mission of AScK is to generate non-dues revenue for KAIA by providing high-quality insurance programs and services that will help assure the success of its membership and the insurance companies with which it works. Thus, when you write business through AScK, you are by-extension supporting the promotion and the advancement of the independent insurance system. This mission is the driving force in every decision that AScK makes. Don't forget to check out the AScK Showcase Page!
