PT. Kaltimex Energy was incorporated in 1996 in Indonesia with the aim of being one of the leading companies to provide distributed power in Indonesia. Kaltimex was the pioneer company to obtain the first IPP license in the private sector to operate a 23 MW Power Plant for a large textile company in Central Java. Since then, Kaltimex Energy has installed ~900MW throughout Indonesia, encompassing: Rental (PLN), Palm Oil, Sugar, Textile, Malls, Hotels, and many other industrial sectors. Kaltimex Energy also represents world-renowned power generation products of Dresser-Rand Steam Turbines (Siemens owned), MWM Gas Engines (Caterpillar owned), TATA owned Voltas Vapor Absorption Chillers, Wabio Biogas Technology, OPRA radial turbines, Biofabrik containerized plastic to fuel plants, GGIE waste to energy technology, Triogen's fuel-saving solutions, and EQtec Chemical Catalytic Conversion Technology - biomass/waste to synthetic diesel production. We also provide ESCO services in Indonesia. Kaltimex Energy has been in the rural electrification business partnering with PLN since 2001.
