Kaat Architects insists on producing a saturated architectural process in today’s fast-paced world. It approaches each design project with a provocative inquiry, sees every issue as an opportunity to rethink and finds the process of persuading the people that need to be convinced quite valuable. "Although we do not start with an intent to being different, we avoid producing a recognizable architecture. We believe that when all the elements that make it possible for the place we live in, the geography, the politics and even ourselves, are in intellectual and physical transformation, it should not be possible for the reflexes that stand out in spatial design to remain the same. Therefore, if there is a common ground that connects our projects, it can be called ‘producing a better physical environment’." Founded by Lebriz Atan KARAATLI and S. Arda KARAATLI, KaraatlıAtan Architects - KAAT produces projects for the private and public sectors. The scale of projects covers everything that is related to generating a better spatial quality.
