We are JuJu delivery. We want to transform food delivery so that ordering in isn’t a weekly splurge, but something you’ll do every single day. Now, food delivery has some problems - the biggest being cost and time. When you factor in delivery fees, service fees, hidden fees, and tips, ordering through a delivery app can end up costing you twice as much as the meal originally cost. If that isn’t enough, you might end up waiting upwards of an hour for your food to reach you, which could mess up your daily routine and schedule. This is due to food delivery’s inefficient point-to-point system, which has drivers wasting time at each restaurant and on their commute. Here’s how we tackle these problems. In addition to the restaurant’s full menu, we offer curated meals at an affordable price. We also use a hub-to-hub system and drop-off locations to eliminate the fees and tip culture and to give our drivers consistent routes to reduce room for error. In the future, we will also add food lockers to each of the drop-off locations to enhance the process even more. Finally, orders are locked in the night before or the morning of, giving restaurants enough time to prepare the meals so drivers don’t have to wait 20 or 30 minutes for the food to be ready. All this gives you affordable food, at the same time, and at the same place, every day.
