The current events, issues and trends that affect our lives are researched, organized and put into context by professionals who present facts and analysis in meaningful ways. Graduates in this exciting field excel at using established newsgathering techniques to report news in formats such as text, audio, video and photos. Their work appears in multiple media—newspapers, magazines, television, radio, blogs, national and international news websites, Twitter, Facebook—and is increasingly consumed on a computer, tablet or smartphone.
