Jess’ Underground Kitchen is a New Zealand business that started at Jess Daniell’s kitchen table. JUK was founded with the mission to help busy professionals and families make healthier, more nutritious meal choices. JUK meals are made with the best NZ produce and prove frozen meals can be tasty, every time. With a stocked freezer of JUK meals, inspiring dishes can be on the table with little effort ¬– giving people time to spend doing the things they love. We’re a growing team of food enthusiasts, (mealtime is our favourite time of day!), passionate about bringing nutritious and delicious meals to every kitchen table. We stand behind free-range farming practices and every JUK meal is produced with free-range meat and eggs. We support local growers and seek out the best produce to ensure quality and taste is never compromised. Our range caters for a vegan diet, gluten and dairy intolerance and other dietary requirements. Sustainability is our priority and JUK meals are packaged in either recyclable or compostable packaging only. JUK now has four stores across Auckland, three cookbooks, a bespoke catering arm and a large custom-built manufacturing facility in Morningside. We create thousands of nutritious and delicious meals every day. A supermarket range from JUK called Gourmet Everyday, was founded in 2020.
