Overview

JAWiC (Jamaican Women in Coffee) seeks to connect women in coffee, to recognize women’s contributions to the industry, and to empower a sustainable future — a future where women have equal access to resources and the benefits of their labor. JAWiC serves all Jamaican women in the coffee industry, including farmers, traders, roasters, vendors, and baristas. We invite women from the Blue Mountain community, the High Mountain community, across Jamaica, and the diaspora. Our team is led by active Jamaican women in the coffee industry, sharing their skills and networks to uplift the broader community. We are supported by an incredible network of mentors and strategic partnerships from the Caribbean and beyond. We’re making power moves to uplift the community from within and to impact the entire coffee industry. Will you help?
