My name is Jacqueline Rooney, and I'm an Irish-based artist working from home at the picturesque coastal village of Rostrevor in Co. 𝗠𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 🌈 𝗢𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🌊 🌟 Before embarking on a painting, I love visiting the location and doing preliminary sketches and small paintings en plein air to absorb myself in the setting. 🌟 I gain inspiration from the weather, the sounds, the smells and the beautiful surroundings. I then take a series of photographs before returning to my studio to begin the painting. 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 💡 🌟 I will usually meet the client to discuss their requirements and advise them on the painting's colour and style to complement their interior and add colour and warmth to their home.
