She is an acclaimed journalist, Polk, IRE Gold Medal, Gerald Loeb, and four-time Emmy award-winning Independent Producer, filmmaker, and multicultural media expert, specializing in long- and short-form non-fiction content. Venegas has worked for the top television networks in the U.S. (NBC, CBS, Univision & Telemundo). She was Executive Producer for the U.S. Hispanic’s most distinguished prime-time newsmagazine “Aqui y Ahora '' and Executive Producer of Investigations and Long-form programming at NBC/Telemundo. At It’s a Big Subject Productions, we believe that our video and audio content can empower communities through storytelling while maintaining the highest journalistic standards.
