Overview

IT Retail is a grocery POS software company focused on creating innovative solutions that keep grocers ahead of the competition and on top of the technology curve. We have developed a comprehensive point-of-sale system that caters to both the grocer and customer. Above all else, we pride ourselves in providing solutions for grocers that have been carefully crafted by grocers. We are proud to develop, customize, sell, and service grocery retail solutions for every business, from mom and pop stores to national grocery chains. It is our goal that when you choose our product, that it doesn’t end at a one-time sale―we want to build a long-lasting relationship. Our grocery POS software is on the Microsoft platform, as our founder, Martin Goodwin, set out to do over 27 years ago. Martin was a third-generation grocer and operated his chain of grocery stores for years. However, as his stores began to have more success, every single one of the POS systems that he tried to integrate fell short of what he was searching for. After years of struggling, he knew there had to be a better way. Finally, he decided to create his own Windows POS/in-store solution in 1993. Goodwin wanted to integrate software functions like POS, inventory and DSD, credit/debit, customer loyalty, and accounting into one easy solution. So, he began to design his own system that was based on a retailer’s perspective. Our POS system, RETAIL, was finally born in 1994 after months of development. Ever since, we have had major success and have expanded all around the world with offices in Europe, Asia, South America, and Central America. Since our start, we have been committed to providing quality solutions, products, and services to grocery retailers, and we will continue to do so for many more years to come.
