Founded in 1966, the Israel Family Planning Association (Open Door) is the leading nonprofit in Israel promoting sexual health rights and is the exclusive Israeli representative and full member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). Open Door supports those exercising their right to sexual health by promoting family planning and improving availability of quality sexual health services to marginalized communities in Israel. Through counseling services, training programs, outreach, and policy work Open Door empowers vulnerable communities in Israel to take charge of their sexual health by providing them with the necessary resources to make their own economic, social, and political decisions. All of our services are customized to fit cultural and linguistic needs. Open Door's work has been recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as one of the best preventative services available for youth in the world.
