Professional Organizations

Overview

We are Health Professionals who are part of a group of professions known as Health and Social Care Professionals. Our professional body represents the five disciplines of Clinical Measurement Physiology in Ireland including: Respiratory, Neurophysiology, Cardiac, Vascular and GI Physiology. Each discipline holds it's own executive with a Chair and Vice-Chair member. The executive board consists of volunteers currently working in each discipline to maintain the interests of the profession. We work to uphold the following aims: -Educate and Train: Promote the highest standard of practice education and training withing the profession -Dedicated Forum: Establish a dedicated forum for professional communication. -Member Representation: Represent our members interests in professional employment and education. -Inform members: Provide the most up to date accurate information within the profession in order to protect professional standards. -Recognition of Qualifications: Provide a pathway for professionals qualifies outside of our current guidelines to practice in Ireland. -Continuous Professional Development: Offer professional opportunities for Physiologists to develop and maintain their CPD.
