Overview

The IOSH Food And Drink Industries Group: • provides CPD activities, site visits and networking opportunities through sector-specific events, often working together with other IOSH groups, branches and industry organisations • issues regular news updates and articles on our microsite and via various media to keep members informed • represents specialists working in the sector and informs national bodies by encouraging debate and contributing to the development of standards and guidance • develops resources and practical guides specific to our sector including the national ‘Recipe for Safety’ initiative • supports projects to investigate or address specific safety concerns within the food and drink sector • organises networking events to maintain the knowledge of those working in the food and drink sector • conducts regular benchmarking across our sector to continually improve the safety performance and standards throughout our industry The Food and Drink Industries Group also runs the International Food and Drink Awards on behalf of the Food Manufacturing Forum, to recognise outstanding individual performance and original solutions to health and safety problems in the industry.
