The Investigative Journalism Bureau is an impact-driven, collaborative newsroom, bringing together professional and student journalists, academics, graduate students and media organizations to tell deeply-reported stories in the public interest. Investigative journalism takes time. It's expensive. It's often one of the first casualties of modern newsrooms. The IJB is trying to change that. Our model will conduct in-depth investigations while training the next generation of investigative reporters and researchers. It operates in collaboration with the Dalla Lana’s Journalism and Health Advocacy programs, home of the Fellowship in Global Journalism and the Certificate in Health Impact, at the University of Toronto.
