Overview

The Interparliamentary Forum on Emerging Technologies (formerly the Institute of AI) is a global, cross party, non-profit working with legislators from across the world to better understand the impact and regulation of emerging technologies. Working in partnership with existing multi-lateral organisations, IFET is uniquely placed due to our growing network of the best placed legislators from across the world. We host roundtables and briefings with legislators who have a real and evidenced interest in technology policy. We provide travel scholarships to help bring legislators to the OECD in Paris to be part of multi-lateral briefings and debates on AI regulation. And we analyse global trends in AI and emerging tech regulation and share this content with our network. The Interparliamentary Forum on Emerging Technologies is the trading name of the Office for the Regulation of Artificial Intelligence Limited, a company registered by guarantee in England & Wales at Companies House under company number 11933682 and registered at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.
