Overview

If we never entered cyberspace, or deliberately do not use any digital technologies, many aspects of our lives take place in and are affected by cyberspace within the Internet ecosystem. Digital technologies bestow on each of us an additional virtual presence and the need for an additional Digital Citizenship. Today’s digital technologies are routinely applied without consideration of our fundamental human and civil rights as Digital Citizens, resulting in new forms of digital servitude that perpetuate and strengthen violations of our existing human and civil rights. We need to define and implement the ethical norms and standards that define our lives and living together online in the Internet ecosystem. IITF’s mission is to extent our human and civil rights into cyberspace and stands for the respect of the rights of all Internet users as digital citizens, without exception. IITF’s main working areas are: • a Digital Bill of Rights and Responsibilities to protect our rights in Cyberspace, define our digital citizenship and to inform all aspects of Internet Governance and Digital Business Processes • a Digital Trustmark that shows digital users where their dignity is respected and differentiates sustainable from predatory digital practices • empowered Digital Citizenship through awareness and engagement in policy development, capacity building, and refining societal digital norms The Internet Integrity Task Force, (IITF), supports the integrity of digital governance, business and social media practices and behaviors resulting in: • Policy recommendations founded in a Digital Bill of Rights and Responsibilities • Increased trust and user protection through a Trustmark for digital Integrity • Engaged Digital Citizenship empowered though knowledge and participation… …resulting in a fairer, sustainable, more equitable and freer world! The Internet Integrity Task Force welcomes your involvement and engagement.
