ISFC is an independent, non-profit & impact-driven #sustainablefinance think tank. We carry out #research, training, and convening on sustainable finance topics - focusing on #sustainability in practice for #business and #finance. We work across Central and Eastern #Europe, and beyond. The Centre publishes briefings offering expert insights and analysis, combining specialist knowledge and practical solutions to inform public, practitioner and policymaking debates on sustainable finance. The Centre also acts as a brain trust for the national governments and the private sector, helping to build regional knowledge and capacity to better engage with the sustainable finance developments in Brussels and worldwide. To achieve this, we ensure that our analysis on complex policy issues is available in easy-to understand formats and accessible to the widest possible audiences. ISFC offers a meeting point for professionals and anyone interested in sustainable finance, using its convening power to bring some of the world’s thought leaders on sustainable finance to the region under the auspices of the CEE Sustainable Finance Summit and its side events. The ISFC is committed to the values of integrity, veracity and dynamism. We believe that to develop and grow, one has to change and adapt, so that is why we use a collaborative approach to our work and projects. This ensures that we can always take advantage of the benefits conferred by cognitive diversity and that we do not duplicate work done by other organisations. We also firmly believe in actively engaging with people skeptical of sustainable finance and decarbonisation, and helping to get their concerns heard.
