The International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists is an organization of specialist physiotherapists with an internationally recognized post-graduate qualification. IFOMPT is a sub-group of the World Confederation of Physical Therapy (WCPT). (WCPT's next general meeting will be in 2011, to be held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Europe). IFOMPT's vision statement is: "World-wide promotion of excellence and unity in clinical and academic standards for manual/musculoskeletal physiotherapists."
