Overview

The Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, as a non-profit educational entity, has a mission and vision perfectly harmonized to meet the academic needs of the student body and the full development of its faculty within the context of Puerto Rican society. That is why we annually review the plans, projects and projections to carry out the institution's courses. The INTER offers academic programs in 11 teaching units. These are the enclosures of: Bayamón, Guayama, Arecibo, Aguadilla, Barranquitas, Fajardo, Metropolitano, Ponce, San Germán and two Professional Schools. Some of the agencies that currently grant accreditation to our programs are: - COA of Nurse Anesthesia Education Program (NAEP) - Council on Aviation Accreditation (CAA) - Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) - National League of Nursing Accreditation Commission (NLNAC) - National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS) - Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) - American Bar Association (ABA) (Law School) - Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE)
