Overview

Founded in 2004, the Interactive Design Institute (IDI) is accredited by the City & Guilds of London Institute and since 2008 has been a collaborative partner of the University of Hertfordshire, delivering a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Design online. IDI was the first alternative online provider in the UK to be successfully reviewed by the QAA (Quality Assurance Agency), with good practice in a number of areas identified. IDI accommodate for a range of backgrounds, offering choices that include BA and MA. Many IDI students study part-time for a Bachelor's degree over four years, fitting their studies around work, family and other commitments. Other students have completed the same course in as little as two or three years (in other study modes). IDI have three start dates per year in February, June and October, much like traditional institutions. Fees are highly competitive and affordable and we offer a range of payment options, including interest-free instalment-based payment plans. IDI students can also take advantage of IDI’s Employers Discount Scheme. The Scheme is designed to help both employers and their employees. It offers a 20% discount on course fees if an employer makes a contribution to fees, and gives employers the opportunity to help staff enhance their career prospects and fulfil their personal goals.
