ITS Ireland is a non-profit public / private sector partnership drawn from academic interests, consultancies, equipment suppliers, contractors, government bodies, local authorities, representative bodies and transport operators in Ireland ITS Ireland's aim is to promote the benefits of Intelligent Transport Solutions. ITS Ireland raises awareness of ITS and provides networking opportunities through periodic newsletters, conferences, seminars and workshops and by engaging with the media on the use of information and communications technologies in road transport. As an organized industry platform, ITS Ireland will promote the interests of Irish ITS stakeholders which will increase awareness and lead to the widespread acceptance and deployment of ITS throughout Ireland while also providing a focal point to foster educational and business opportunities on an international basis.
