Located in the city of Macaíba, at the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, the Santos Dumont Institute is a Social Organization linked to the Ministry of Education that develops teaching, research and extension activities from its two units: the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neurosciences (IIN- ELS), where the first and only Master's program in Neuroengineering recognized by the MEC in Brazil operates, and the Center for Education and Research in Health Anita Garibaldi (Anita), where the pioneering program of Multiprofessional Residency in Health Care for People with Disabilitites in Brazil is located.
