Overview

Olga Kos The Institute of Cultural Inclusion - civil society organization of public interest - NGO - operates nationally contributing to education, social inclusion, cultural and income generation of young people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities. Under the philosophy of "Art and Culture is culture and education", the Institute is recognized around the country for a job promotion, publicity and participation in cultural activities in various areas, with a mission to rescue and strengthen the cultural identity of Brazil. Among others, the main projects of the Institute Olga Kos are art workshops of the program "Paint the syndrome of Respect" (Pintou a Síndrome do Respeito) for young people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities, the book series "Redeeming Culture" (Resgatando Cultura), which includes the publication of books Art on the work of contemporary artists and projects of Sport "Karate for people with Down Syndrome" and "Taekwondo for Youth with Intellectual Disabilities."
