Overview
It is a free non-profit Association of professionals, created under the Law of Associations, of private law, governed by By-laws approved in 1999, and which main purposes are: • To strengthen the bonds between its members for the better disclosure, use and channeling of efforts and researches related to the profession, cooperating to promote the profession and to expand the scope of their members, defending their interests. • To serve as professional-technical consultation center for Public Administrations, for its members and for entities that require it, and create for this and for addressing issues deemed appropriate, the necessary Technical Committees representing the Naval and Oceanic Engineering before Public Administrations and entities of any type. • To negotiate before Public Administrations as many laws as appropriate for the greater efficiency of the profession. • To establish friendly relationships with similar entities in Spain and abroad. • To organize meetings and conferences, national and international, attend such events and, in general, participate in all those acts that serve to improve the profession and technical progress according to the COIN by promoting awards, scholarships and postgraduate courses. • To publish a professional journal and edit publications related to the profession. • To resolve any discrepancies that may arise among its members on issues related to the AINE objectives.
