infineo is digitizing the $3+ trillion life insurance industry using blockchain technology to provide friction-free access to one of the most stable assets in the world for both institutional and retail investors at scale. The total addressable market (TAM) is virtually unlimited for infineo as it builds a fixed-income alternative with no principal or interest rate risk. infineo has three business components: (i) a cash-flowing life insurance agency spanning five provinces in Canada and 31 states in the United States; (ii) the infineoX marketplace that digitizes life insurance policies into backed non-fungible tokens (BNFTs) to facilitate the peer-to-peer trading of these policies in the secondary market; and (iii) the $SOUND security token that fractionalizes a pool of real-world assets (RWAs) in the form of life insurance policies, making the benefits available to a global audience. Life insurance offers tremendous benefits, but there are several practical difficulties with large-scale investment in such policies as an asset class. For holders of BNFTs and the $SOUND security token, all of these problems evaporate. For these reasons and more, life insurance is a better tokenization use case than most other real-world assets.
