Industrial Path Solutions (IPS) is a math based software tool for automatic verification of assembly feasibility, design of flexible components, motion planning and optimization of multi-robot stations, and simulation of key surface treatment processes. IPS successfully implements the potential of the virtual world. IPS is developed by Fraunhofer-Chalmers Centre and Fraunhofer ITWM, and distributed by IPS AB and fleXstructures GmbH. The following software modules are commercially available: IPS Cable Simulation - Simulate cables and hoses in realtime with a wide array of analyzing possibilities. Use in design or verification phase. IPS Rigid Body Path Planner - Find collision free paths in notime! IPS Robot Optimization - Create and/or optimize robot programs with our unique path planning algorithms. IPS Virtual Paint Spray - full physics simulation of the central part of any paint shop process, super fast. IPS Sealing & Adhesives - Simulate sealing laydown on body in white for cars or trucks. IPS Projection Simulation - Quick simulation of spray painting process. IPS Oven Simulation - Simulate your oven curing processes! IPS Intelligently Moving Manikins for Assembly - Tool to set up virtual manikin simulations. Use for assembly verification! IPS Inspection Path Planner - Automatic programming and optimization of coordinate measurement machines- IPS Bellows & Grommets - Finite element based approach for quick simulation of flexible surfaces. Start with CAD geometries. IPS Flat Cables - Finite element based approach for simulating flat cables. IPS Pointcloud Tools - Visualize and perform calculations on billions of points.
