Founded in 1978, the Indian Law Resource Center is a non-profit law and advocacy organization established and directed by Native Americans. The Center provides free assistance to Native Nations and Indigenous Peoples in the United States and throughout the Americas who are working to protect their lands and territories, natural resources, human rights, environment, and cultural heritage.
