Overview

I’m Kiran kumar Patel, owner of Indian Green Grocery Store. My vision to establish a grocery store originated from my own experiences and problems I noticed which people are struggling in their daily routine. My journey started when I immigrated to Canada from my homeland India in the year 2018 as a student. During my stay, it came to my notice that people have to forcefully spend hours on grocery shopping by stealing hours from their relax time. Another issue is something I have noticed as well as experienced as an international student. Students generally do not have access to personal transportation medium and have to relay on public transport. I have experienced and have also noticed other students struggling to carry heavy grocery bags from store to their home as public transportation drops at their desired stop. The situation becomes even bad when snowfall or heavy rains occurs. Immigrants miss dishes belonging to their homeland, but are not able to cook because cooking materials required to prepare a dish are not available easily plus some of them don’t know how to cook it. This includes many native people who enjoy different cuisines but don’t know how to cook. Considering these expects and my personal experiences, my mind got stuck on establishing a grocery store with unique concepts customized for every customer that visits us.
