Overview
IST was founded in 1995, purchased by EDO in 2006, which was then purchased by ITT in 2007. In 2011, ITT split into 3 separate corporations and IST remained with the defense divistion, which was named Exelis. As such, IST is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Exelis Inc.
