Overview
Computational Biology is a student-led society for those interested in the intersection between technology and biology. This is one of the first of its kind in the UK for an industry that is set to grow to billions of dollars. This society is for life and computer scientists alike to gain knowledge, that might be currently missing in their undergraduate studies, that they'll need to start a career in CompBio. In the age of social distancing we will be hosting regular webinars with top industry and academic figures to open your eyes to how CompBio is revolutionising the life sciences. Post-COVID we plan to host coding classes tailored to the intricacies of working with biological data and organise teams to participate in bio-hackathons.
