Overview

IAAI is a youth focused entrepreneurial civil society organization, which aims to build the intellectual, technical and organizational infrastructure for multi-stakeholder climate action and sustainable development goals implementation on local and global level with the multi-stakeholder partnership #GloCha. IAAI is registered under Austrian law on associations and headquartered in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee in the Austrian province of Carinthia (in German Kärnten, in Slovenian Koroška). IAAI is accredited to the United Nations through the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the UN Department for Global Communication, the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and it has also observer status with the Green Climate Fund - the main climate finance instrument of global community. IAAI is a founding member and member of the steering committees of (1) the UNFCCC Education, Communication and Outreach Stakeholders Community ECOS https://climateecos.org/, (2) the Climate Chain Coalition - the leading expert network on blockchain for climate action https://www.climatechaincoalition.io/ and (3) the Digital Innovation Community within the UNFCCC process - DICO https://www.facebook.com/groups/DigitalInnovationCommunity.
