Overview

The European Institute for Innovation through Health Data (i~HD) is a European, not-for-profit organisation facilitating the optimal uses of health data in a trustworthy way and with respect to all stakeholders. Health data has the potential to catalyse smarter health care and efficient research . We need to urgently ramp up our learning by creating and combining high-quality health data, and its trustworthy uses. As a neutral, multi-stakeholder institute The European Institute for Innovation through Health Data strives to maximise community value from health data. OUR VISION We strive for a world in which multiple stakeholders collaborate in the trustworthy use of high-quality health data to continuously improve care and accelerate research. OUR MISSION We promote, develop and share good practices, tools and quality assessments to maximise community value from health data for innovations in health, care and research. In order to catalyse change and innovation within the health ecosystem: - we work across these stakeholders through education and events to promote collaboration - we play a strong role in national and international R&D projects and European-wide collaborative initiatives - we develop practical methods and solutions - we develop international quality certificates, seals and labels.
