We are dedicated to providing opportunities for the next generation of our Nation's Doctors. The Hsu Medical Education Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization that funds grants and scholarships for medical students, physicians-in-training, and physicians to provide financial support for education and research in medicine. HMEF is a registered 501c3 non-profit corporation and our Tax ID number is 81-4367330 We are founded in memoriam of the late Dr. Chien -Tien Hsu (1912-1992), who practiced gynecology and gynecological oncology in Taipei, Taiwan, and pioneered surgical treatments for cervical and ovarian cancer. Aspects of his treatments are still relevant and used today. He founded Taipei Medical College in 1960 and was a professor in obstetrics, gynecology, and biochemistry.
