HIT THE HAY is a Swedish company that set out to slap our industry in the face! But you know, in a gentle way, with a pillow or something... Our industry has since long been dominated by Cotton, a fabric that drains our planet from water and polluting it with harsh chemicals. We said enough! And started HIT THE HAY. Our promise is to offer people an eco-friendly yet far more greater option when it comes to beddings. We believe that being environmentally conscious should be rewarded, not the other way around. Our Lyocell fabric derives from rapidly growing eucalyptus trees that grow without artificial irrigation, synthetic pesticides or gene modification. The wood pulp is processed with non-toxic organic chemicals in a closed loop cycle that recycles 99,5% of all process chemicals and reuses water. Beyond being eco-friendly, Lyocell has a bunch of other great advantages. This super breathable fabric is smoother than silk and featherlike soft to the touch, it's anti-bacterial, hypoallergenic, thermo-regulating, and moisture-wicking, making it the ideal choice for something to spend 1/3 of your life in.
