Overview
HEFCW regulates fee levels at universities, ensures a framework is in place for assessing the quality of higher education and scrutinises the performance of universities and other designated providers. HEFCW uses resources from the Welsh Government and others to secure higher education (HE) learning and research of the highest quality, make the most of the contribution of HE to Wales's culture, society and economy. Mae CCAUC yn rheoleiddio lefelau ffïoedd mewn prifysgolion, yn sicrhau bod fframwaith ar waith i asesu ansawdd addysg uwch, ac yn craffu ar berfformiad prifysgolion a sefydliadau eraill a reoleiddir. Mae CCAUC hefyd yn dosbarthu adnoddau i addysg uwch (AU) a ddarperir gan Lywodraeth Cymru. Defnyddiwn gyllid a dderbyniwn gan Lywodraeth Cymru ac eraill i sicrhau dysgu ac ymchwil AU o’r radd flaenaf, cynyddu i’r eithaf gyfraniad AU i ddiwylliant, cymdeithas ac economi Cymru.
