Since 1985, Hickory Mechanical has been serving industrial and institutional customers in the local Hickory, NC area. HMI works with pre-designed, engineered plans, and we also perform design-build services. We help develop solutions for process space and infrastructure needs. Our team can partner with other trades to fulfill all of your needs. Our History Hickory Mechanical Inc., was founded in March of 1985 by David Moore, a third-generation mechanical contractor. Right away, Hickory Mechanical, Inc. began serving industrial and institutional customers in the local Hickory, NC market. Early on, the company developed the practice of “looking for customers, not jobs“. Hickory Mechanical works hard to develop long-term relationships with customers. Whether it’s a new building or addition, or piping relocated equipment and installing auxiliary Parts, Hickory Mechanical can solve any problem that arises in their field.
