Its hard to put into words the epic transformation of mind and body a woman goes through once she discovers she's pregnant. It's even harder to describe what happens to her mind and body after she gives birth and becomes an new mom. At the same time that moms-to-be and new moms are going through this amazing experience, it cam also be an overwhelming, anxiety-laden, downright lonely time. They might wonder: am I doing the right thing? The advice and information I'm getting, is it what's best for me? Haumea is an empowering, compassionate environment where new moms and moms-to-be have access to objective educational resources and workshops, health and wellness opportunities, and most important, a community of women form all walks of life who are on the same path of wonder and challenge through their own pregnancy and new parenting journeys. The goal is to provide a non-judgmental place where women take care of themselves -- and teach other -- with grace, compassion and kindness. We want to make sure women realize that when it comes to becoming a mom, it's a big life changes -- but you don't have to make that transition alone. We've got your back.
