Overview

Every year, Happening Marketing (HM) brings together nearly 600 students, teachers, and industry professionals for a weekend during which the most significant marketing competition in Eastern Canada takes place. This competition involves students from 11 universities from the provinces of Quebec and Ontario. The Organizing Committee of HEC Montréal is proud to host the next edition, which will take place on March 22, 23, and 24. This competition encompasses various aspects: academic, sports, social, participation, and contribution. The academic portion is divided into seven cases of different marketing specializations and a knowledge quiz. The sports aspect takes the form of a tournament with mixed teams, and the sport played is non-conventional. As for the social aspect, it consists of various activities related to marketing, mostly aimed at incorporating elements of socialization and mutual aid. In the participation and contribution aspects, the goal is to unite members of each delegation behind their colors to support not only their teams but also a cause determined by the Organizing Committee. Four aspects, a unique opportunity to proudly represent your school. A large-scale competition that will conclude the 2023-2024 year of the RÉFAEC competitions, with a commitment to creating an intelligent event where small details will make a significant difference in the experience of all participants.
