Overview

Hannah’s Family Center envisions a world where strong families enable children to thrive and communities to prosper. Since 1988, we have helped San Diego families navigate unexpected loss, trauma, and major life changes connected to Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). As experts in co-parenting Hannah’s Family Center knows that early intervention is the key and that all children are co-parented. Hannah’s Family Center unites with the family to enhance strengths, heal traumas, and preserve resilience. With the child as the focus, Hannah’s Family Center clusters family relationships around the needs of the child which assures continuing and loving care for children despite changes in relationships among adults. Our Center helps families learn and integrate the protective factors that create brighter futures for all family members. Hannah’s Family Center envisions being the primary resource for repairing and rebuilding family bonds; establishing strong and effective co-parenting relationships; and deepening positive parenting skills for families throughout the greater San Diego area. Hannah’s Family Center offers three main family programs with over 40 integrated services: Transitions Program: Therapy for adults, children, couples and families; Therapeutic Structured Parenting Time; Parenting/co-parenting classes; Emotion Management; and Substance Use Clinic. 2 Home Kids Program: Services include Supervised Exchange, Supervised Visitation, Supervised Phone and Virtual Visitations, Home Safety Checks, and more. Human Animal Bond Program: reptiles, amphibians, insects, and spiders help facilitate parent-child interaction during supervised visitations, therapy work, support groups for children, and our Turtle Tours for children and parents. Free community resources, mom’s support group, dad’s support group, parenting class, Kids Book Club, co-parenting workshop, and the San Diego Parent Helpline
