Overview

Tha Haifax Rainmen are one of the founding premier teams of the National Basketball League of Canada Founded in 2006 by Andre Levingston the Halifax Rainmen have been providing the city of Halifax and surrounding area with the very best in live basketball and sports entertainment. The inaugural NBLCanada season saw the Halifax Rainmen expand their season schedule to 36 Regular Season games. Playing 18 home games at the Halifax Metro Centre. The season proved the viability and excitement of the NBLCanada brand and that the Rainmen we one of the top competitors in the league. In the first official NBLCanada playoffs the Halifax Rainmen beat the Quebec (now Laval) Kebs to face their now rivals London Lighting in the final round. Coming back from an 0-2 deficit to force game 5 the Halifax Rainmen took it to the wire but losing in the deciding game Now entering the second NBLCanada season the Halifax Rainmen will now be playing a 40 game regular season with 20 home dates at the Halifax Metro Centre.
