Hackerspace is 4 things! It's what university should be. We have lectures and workshops almost every day. Our core values is to share knowledge with no barriers. We have no fear. We are learning all the time. We ask questions. If you want to build something you won't meet bureaucracy or any barriers. It's values. There are hundreds of hackerspaces around the world. It's more then bunch of nerds paying for a big place. It's mission to change world for a better place. We understand why open solutions, available to read for everyone are the only way to gain security. We understand why keeping society safe from invigilation and censorship is the only way to keep civil society. We lobby for individual rights. We are against any form of censorship, spying citizens and tools leading to authoritarian governments. If you understand technology you start to understand how crucial are secure open source solutions for society. It's community. We help each other. It's also friendships and place for nerds. We pay for local together and have fun learning. It's pragmatism: we save money by building big hardware workshop together. We save time by explaining how things work to each other.
