Overview
Guglhupf is an innovative bakery, cafe & restaurant with a reputation for outstanding artisanship and attention to quality. We serve German-inspired cuisine (not the stereotype - think biodynamic, not Lederhosen) with an inventive approach using local, seasonal ingredients. The company originally started in 1998 as a bakery, was expanded in 2004 to include a daytime coffee house/café, and added full dinner service in 2009. The architecturally striking building that houses the café and restaurant received the Golden Leaf Award for best commercial construction. The botanical 2000 square foot patio adds to the overall ambiance, creating a very unique backdrop for a memorable drinking and dining experience. We produce everything from scratch including our in-house charcuterie program (Good Food Award winner 2014), and our artisan bread program. We strive to be the local destination for exquisite foods, with down-to-earth but professional customer service, in a unique setting, conducive to relaxing and enjoying amazing food and company.
