Overview
Guardian Saints is a not for profit organisation formed in 2014. The founders - parents and a Foster Carer, were becoming increasingly concerned about the dangers our now constantly online world was presenting to children, looked after children in particular. We felt that what was being done, was not being done quickly enough and felt strongly motivated to use our experience to do something about it. We have significant experience working with major commercial organisations, establishing robust policy and processes to ensure regulatory compliance, specifically in the area of IT security and online safety. We felt we wanted to use our combined skill set to do some genuine good and help protect children. We have focused our attention on looked after children who are widely considered to be some of the most vulnerable. We offer a range of services to enable those working in a social care/care environment, to make the internet a safer place for children, including: * Policy frameworks and setting online safety * Consultancy and guidance GDPR * Trained GDPR compliance assessors IASME * Consultancy and guidance Cyber Essentials certification * Online Safety Awareness Training * Practical ‘hands-on’ training * Ongoing advice and technical assistance
