Griottes Polyglottes exists to build social changes through playful actions! Ingrid Broussillon the founder is a passionate advocate of purposeful play. Originally from France, she came to Vancouver in 2017 with the desire to improve her English speaking skills through theatre and improv classes. Unable to find such a place, she created Griottes Polyglottes for those who enjoy learning by doing while having fun. All of her workshops center around improvisation (Improv) and theatre activities, allowing participants to learn while playing and having fun in a safe and comfortable environment. Ingrid is deeply passionate about improvisation because of the numerous benefits it offers, such as increased creativity and improved communication. Participants in her workshops gain confidence by stepping out of their comfort zones and developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills for unexpected situations. These valuable skills empower individuals to effectively handle challenges, both personally and professionally. Ingrid works and plays to make a difference with schools, corporations, and organisations, offering workshops that - boost language confidence for French and English learners - enhance public speaking skills, - address issues like racism and diversity.
