Overview

At GRIDD we strive to create knowledge that transforms lives for the better, to embrace diversity and to live our values of excellence, integrity, respect and collegiality. We bring together leading experts in the fields of biology and chemistry to tackle significant global health problems, focusing on diseases such as malaria, cancer, Parkinson’s disease and spinal cord injury repair. GRIDD also houses significant national resources in Compounds Australia and Nature Bank. Compounds Australia is the nations’ industry standard, compound curation facility. NatureBank is Australia’s largest collection of raw biota, processed into large extract and fraction libraries that academic and industry researchers can use to discover new bioactive agents. At GRIDD we are especially proud of our early career researchers and higher degree research students – their enthusiasm for research is an inspiration!
