Many people in our industry and also some Wall Street Sharks say: “GREEN is the NEW Black". Our vision is different: We want to be profitable, but meanwhile we sincerely want to do great things for State of New Jersey and cannabis sciences. Research and Development: The physicians who are part of our team intend to do extensive research and development work with cannabis. They already have established ties with the medical community and several prominent universities, and plan to work with them to conduct clinical studies. Of particular interest to these physicians is the mounting evidence that cannabis can play a beneficial role in the opiod epidemic. Initial data, for example, suggests that cannabis can minimize withdrawal symptoms in people with an opioid addiction. However, the amount of overall research in this area is scarce. More quality studies are needed to confirm the results and to explore the development of novel cannabinoid-based therapeutics, which could provide clinicians an additional tool to support the recovery of opioid-dependent persons undergoing treatment.
