I've been through several career changes in my 30+ years in business, working in startups, nonprofits, and Fortune 25 companies from the front line to the senior executive level. Parenting gender expansive kids: My oldest came out as transgender at 18 and then went through several years of suicidal depression. I have helped several parents navigate the new reality of having a gender-expansive teen. I am not a therapist, but I definitely understand what you're going through. I've changed careers several times after getting an engineering degree--through writing, marketing, corporate responsibility, employee engagement, nonprofit fundraising, software development, executive leadership, and more. I've been fortunate to enjoy a storied life with lots of plot twists. World travels and cross-country moves, marriage and divorce, parenting a transgender kid, publishing novels, and a lot more.
