Overview

Graphjet Technology was incorporated in 2019 and we are the world’s first and only company to own a technology that transforms waste into graphite, single-layer graphene, and graphene-based anode battery material. The patented technology was developed through our collaboration with MIT University, as well as with top universities in Malaysia, Japan and the UK. As one of the world’s first companies specializing in converting waste to super material, we are partnering and collaborating with the World Economic Forum (WEF), which is the global thought leader on critical issues such as energy transition and reducing carbon emissions sustainably which aligns with Graphjet’s vision. We are converting waste into wealth by transforming palm kernel shells into graphite, single-layer graphene and graphene-based anode battery material. With our technology , we are able to produce the aforementioned materials with at least 98% similarity with other synthetic graphite and graphene, and after conducting numerous tests, the overall result shows that they are much more stable as well. Currently we are producing 10,000 tonnes of graphite and 60 tonnes of graphene annually. The production line will be increased gradually in the following years after the launch of our factory in Kuantan, Malaysia. With at least 98% similarity and the price being 80% lower than market price, we hope that each and every industry is able to fully utilize and conduct research with our product. With our product we are able to compliment and create more value and benefit not only to industry but also towards our community.
