Gosport Voluntary Action (GVA) is Gosport's leading Council of Voluntary Service (CVS), providing steadfast support to voluntary and community initiatives throughout the Gosport borough since 1990. As a membership organization, our diverse group of members comprises voluntary and community groups, as well as organizations operating within the Borough of Gosport. GVA operates as an independent registered charity and company limited by guarantee, leveraging its charitable status to develop and implement services that benefit the people of Gosport across all areas of charitable endeavor. Having initially been headquartered at Bury House, GVA currently operates from the vibrant Martin Snape House in the heart of Gosport town center. MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to provide unwavering support to voluntary and community groups, while delivering services that have a positive impact on every resident of the Borough of Gosport.
