Golf Oman runs several initiatives and is specifically focused on the development on junior golf in Oman as well as the Oman National Team and women's golf. Currently, the Junior Series initiative provides junior golfers free access to Monthly Medal competitions across Ghala, Al Mouj and Ras Al Hamra Golf Clubs. Juniors are welcome to compete in all 3 medals if they wish which allows them to earn Order of Merit points and aim for the highest position of 'Series Champion.' The Junior Series also provides beginner golfers with a free taster session at Ghala, Al Mouj, Ras Al Hamra and Muscat Hills Golf Clubs, from which they can get a taste for the game and the style of junior programs offered by each club. The Golf Oman brand also organises and presents several major tournaments across Muscat each year, including the Oman Senior's Open and the Oman Amateur Open.
